Let me start off by saying that Peter Terry was addicted to heroin.We were friends in college and continued to be after I graduated. Notice that I said “I”. He dropped out after 2 years of barely cutting it. After I moved out of the dorms and into a small apartment, I didn’t see Peter as much. It got that name because no one had ever reached the final exit. The rules were pretty simple and cliche: reach the final room of the building and you win $500, nine rooms in all. The house was located outside the city, roughly four miles from my house. Apparently he had tried and failed. He was a heroin and who knows what the fuck addict, so I figured the drugs got the best of him and he wigged out at a paper ghost or something. He told me it would be too much for anyone. That it was unnatural. I didn’t believe him. Why would I? I told him I would check it out the next night, and no matter how hard he tried to convince me otherwise, $500 sounded too good to be true, I had to. I set out the following night. This is what happened.When I arrived, I immediately noticed something strange about the building. Have you ever seen or read something that shouldn’t be scary, but for some reason a chill crawls up your spine? I walked toward the building and the feeling of uneasiness only intensified as I opened the front door.The first area was almost laughable. A child (Han-sol)and a pregnant woman (Seong-kyeong) saved by the sacrifice of the child's father father (Seok-woo), the ladies husband (Sang-hwa), and a homeless man (Gwi-hwa) who didn't know them at all. March 23, 2022, Han-sol and Seong-kyeong where able to reach the Busan gates and brought into a hospital for the safety of others test where done, procedures were made and even though they were in the clear, the army had doubts. Letting Han-sol go to school and gave Seong-kyeong a house for both of them to live in and stay safe. These children were labelled as Augmented.The Augmented were feared and locked away, kept from the general populace. Children who were born to human parents exhibiting these strange abilities were given away or left on the streets. When Zekrom's leadership came to strip him of his power, he decimated them, and rebuilt the city in his own image. New laws were created, and all Augmented children were to be sent to the Institute. Humanity now lives in fear of Reaper, and the Augmented have no choice but to follow them. Or so it seems. The planet itself has other ideas and is slowly building an army to topple Reaper.
